After last month’s release of their 326.80 beta drivers, NVIDIA’s R325 driver branch has finally reached WHQL certification with today's release of driver version 327.23.

For those of you on a beta upgrade cadence, these drivers should be virtually identical to the last beta, going by NVIDIA’s release notes. Otherwise for those of you on a WHQL upgrade cadence, then these are the first drivers with all of the R325 branch enhancements. This includes the usual mix of performance enhancements – up to 19% in several games versus R319 – new SLI profiles, official Windows 8.1 support, TXAA support for OpenGL, and full support for tiled 4K 60Hz displays (e.g. ASUS’s PQ321Q).

As usual, you can grab the drivers for all current desktop and mobile NVIDIA GPUs over at NVIDIA’s driver download page. And thanks to reader SH SOTN for the heads up. Those of you with AMD drivers may also be interested in the Catalyst 13.9 WHQL drivers.

Ack! I have had the same issue with my EVGA GTX560 since I installed the latest drivers. I've been wondering why I'm getting video-related bluescreens in Win7-64bit. It sounds like I'm not the only one.

Maybe this new release will clear that up.

Wow I thought I am the only one having this problem. I received my GTX560 last week and the driver crashes or screen freezes all the time. I thought it was faulty and I almost returned it.

It's the same with these drivers. Just tested them. Encountered a lock-up/reboot in about 20 minutes. Went back to 314.22.

Being stuck on a certain working driver isn't pleasant at all.

Same here - I updated and the driver crashed again.

i hope this fixes the hickups and freezes.

all drivers after 314.22 gave me nothing but headache.
314.22 work flawless for me, but all drivers after that have issue with a DLL (event log shows them). and i have freezes when browsing. the freezes are 2-4 seconds long.
when i check the event log i see that at exactly that time some nvidia driver has caused a problem.

Those were fixed with a beta for me (326.80 on a GTX 770), so they should also be fixed in this one - at least if you're talking about the resume from standby issue after more than 24 hours of power-on time.

Glad I saw this. Somehow I'm still on 320.19.

I had 3 560 Tis and they all had issues. Upgrading to a 580 resolved all the crashing. There was even a community outreach by Nvidia due to all the complaints of 560 Tis failing. It was an evil card.

I have had zero issues with my 560ti 448 core edition. Especially not the ones you guys are mentioning. But in all honesty, I have a different chip. So that could explain things. Running 327.23, Windows 8 Pro 64bit.

    You don't say.

560 Ti 448 has a GF110 core; A regular 560 is based on GF114. They are the same only in name.
